It is definitely the Click-To-Run version of Office. I did the Online Repair and rebooted and it reinstalled the same older version 15.0.4454.1510.

I already tried all this before posting. It happens under multiple accounts. The repair didn't change anything. I already tried disabling/enabling updates. None of this worked.
If the update uses a specific website or port, I can ensure that these are not blocked on our corporate network. That would be useful information.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for replying.
If the computer is connected to domain, I would suggest you to isolate the computer from the domain network and check if it works.
You may also try connecting the computer to a different internet service provider and check if it helps.
Check if the date and time on the compute is set correctly.

Thank you.

That is not a solution. I have 1500 more of these to update.
If you provide the ports or sites that the update service is attempting to connect to, that would be a possible solution.
If you could provide another way to force an update to the product rather than disable/reenable the update setting, that would also be a possible solution.

Hi Stephen,
Thank you for replying.
Since you have more than 1500 computers, I would suggest you to post your query in the forum below for better suggestions:
You may also check if the issue occurs on single standalone windows machine that has never been connected to a domain environment or on a computer which has been fresh installed with the windows and then install Office.
